Camp Okawehna

Summer camp is often a child's first experience in independence. It's a time of growth and exploration in a safe place away from home. Camp Okawehna, at Cedar Crest campground in Lyles, Tenn., is a weeklong summer experience for children 6-18 who have kidney disease. Any child who has had a kidney transplant or that is on peritoneal or hemodialysis is welcome to attend. Food, activities, and on-site medical facilities, including a full-service hemodialysis unit, offer children the complete camp experience.

Learn more about the Camp "O" experience on the Camp Okawehna page on our site or the Dialysis Clinic Inc. website.  Financial aid is available.
