We know that teenagers have unique health care needs and are more comfortable in a waiting room with others their age. With this in mind, the Adolescent and Young Adult Health program serves adolescents in a clinic designed and staffed to meet their specific needs.

Our clinics and services include outpatient and inpatient care for teens and young adults from 12 to 22 years of age. Clinics are located at Vanderbilt Health One Hundred Oaks.

The doctors in our clinic are specialists in adolescent health. In addition, our team includes nursing, nutrition, social work, psychology, psychiatry and sports medicine specialists. For referral patients, we incorporate the primary care provider as a critical member of the team.
