The Vanderbilt Childhood Cancer Program is a place of healing for pediatric cancer patients and their families. As a collaboration between the Vanderbilt Department of Pediatrics, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, and Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, the Children's Cancer Program is dedicated to providing the most promising therapies and to advancing research in all types of childhood cancers.
An Innovative Team Approach
When you bring your child to Vanderbilt, you’ll find dedicated professionals working together to provide the best in cancer care. Experts from all areas impacting childhood cancer—including hematology, oncology, radiation oncology, surgery, nursing, child life, social work, psychology, nutrition, and physical therapy—meet weekly to develop a plan of care for new patients and to consider options for established patients.
