Childhood cancer and blood disorders
We have a myelosuppresion unit for our hematology and oncology patients. The entire unit is HEPA filtered so children can leave their rooms and still be in their protected environment. We also have a unit primarily for chemotherapy admissions including treatment of fever, neutropenia, and liver transplants.

Emergency Department

The Emergency Department at Children's Hospital is a comprehensive regional pediatric center with Level-1 trauma capabilities. We have 35 patient care areas and 2 trauma bays.

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)

Established in 1989, we have placed more than 800 patients on ECMO making us one of the largest ECMO programs in the nation. We can run four ECMO patients at one time. For the past four years, ELSO has recognized our program as a Center of Excellence.
