The Pediatric Heart Institute’s Cardiology Clinics have received the highest patient satisfaction ratings possible, based on quality of care, timely service, and friendly staff.
A typical visit begins with checking your child's vital signs and the opportunity to share your child's medical history. Many Children have an electrocardiogram (EKG), an echocardiogram (ECHO) or both. These tests are not painful. They take place in a kid-friendly environment with technicians who care for children every day.
We review many of the test results with you before the end of your visit. Your child's cardiac care at Children's Hospital is unique because a team of pediatric specialists will review complex cases to ensure nothing is missed.
If your child’s pediatrician or family doctor suspects a heart condition, patients can typically be seen in our Consultation Clinic within 1 to 2 days.
