Beginning Breastfeeding
 The fee for this class is $40.00. The class is limited to the first 10 couples that are pre-registered. You must be pre-registered and confirmed to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in and pay the fee of $40.00. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.

This class prepares expectant women and their support person for breastfeeding. The course includes information on how to successfully breastfeed your baby, breastfeeding options for returning to work, pumping, and management of common breastfeeding problems.

New Beginnings Prepared Childbirth
The class is limited to the first 10 couples that are pre-registered. The fee for this class is $75.00.  You must be pre-registered and confirmed to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early to the first class in order to sign in and pay the fee.  Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.

This five-week series, meeting from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., offers expectant women and their support person in-depth information about pregnancy, labor and delivery and postpartum. Pain management techniques for birth are taught which include breathing, relaxation, epidural anesthesia, pain medication, and other coping techniques.

This weekly series meets from 6 to 8 p.m. for five-consecutive weeks.

New Beginnings Prepared Childbirth Crash Course
This one-day class is offered on two Saturdays per month. The fee for this class is $75.00. This class is limited to the first 10 couples that are pre-registered. You must be pre-registered and confirmed in order to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in and pay the fee. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.

This class includes information about labor and delivery, anesthesia, epidurals, cesarean sections and postpartum care. This class is ideal for parents anticipating use of an epidural or those wanting a refresher.

The class meets all day on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Newborn Care
The class is limited to the first eight couples that are pre-registered. The fee for this class is $40.00. You must be pre-registered and confirmed in order to attend class. Please arrive 15 minutes early in order to sign in and pay the fee. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.

For expectant parents and adoptive parents, this class includes practical information on how to care for your newborn during the first month of life. Topics include: family adjustment, bathing, diapering, signs of illness, safety, newborn characteristics and behavior.

The class meets from 6 to 8 p.m.

Car Seat Safety Class

Class will be limited to the first 5 couples that are pre-registered. The fee for this class is $10.00. You must be pre-registered and confirmed to attend class. Please arrive 10 minutes early in order to sign in. Due to the limited amount of classroom space, no walk-ins are accepted.

This class will focus on the importance of the proper use and installation of child passenger safety restraints, centering primarily on the transportation of newborns and infants. Participants will receive education on various child passenger safety topics, including the TN child passenger safety law, and also be given the opportunity to have their car seat checked at their vehicle by a certified child passenger safety technician.

The class meets on the following evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
