Named as one of the top ten pediatric urology programs by U.S News and World Report, Vanderbilt Pediatric Urology is one of the most experienced programs in the country. We provide children with world-class, simple and reconstructive care. We also offer a minimally invasive surgical approach.

Our pediatric urologists care for children with any problem associated with the urinary tract and/or genitalia. The urinary tract includes the kidneys, ureter, and the bladder. The medical and surgical management of children with problems in these areas requires a different approach on the part of the treating physician. It is necessary to have the technical skills of a micro-surgeon with the reassuring touch of a friend and confidant.
The goal of our pediatric urologists is to provide patients and families with a diagnosis and an understanding of their child's problem. If necessary, we can surgically correct problems with the skill and care necessary to obtain excellent results, while always remembering that the children under our care are not just small adults.
Our pediatric urologists are internationally recognized for their clinical and basic science research. They have published more than 200 articles and book chapters in the field of pediatric urology. The division also offers an accredited two year research/clinical fellowship training program that is considered one of the top programs in the country.
