Critical Care Medicine

Children's Hospital is the regional leader in critical care. Doctors and nurses who focus only on caring for critically ill children provide around-the-clock intensive care and post-surgery care. Our hospital is at the forefront of using technology to deliver the highest quality care. Researchers and educators are making breakthroughs in helping children heal and recover.

Critical Care Medicine

Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
The 36-bed PCCU provides specialized care for critically ill children. The PCCU is made up of the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) and the PCICU (Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit).

Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
