Recent News - SITT Trial
The Silent Infarct Transfusion Study at Vanderbilt (SITT) is an international six-year study evaluating the effectiveness of blood transfusion therapy for silent strokes, a common and serious complication of sickle cell disease.
Our mission is to provide the best available medical care, educational support, advocacy and research for children, adults and families whose lives are affected by sickle cell disease. Your contribution will be used to support the educational and programmatic activities lead by the Center of Excellence in Sickle Cell Disease.
