Sleep Disorders Program
A good night's sleep makes for healthy children and happy parents. Finding solutions for sleeping problems gives your child a better opportunity for learning, growth and overall wellness.
The Children’s Hospital sleep program is one of the few in the regions with board-certified sleep specialists who are also pediatricians. Mohammad Fazili, M.D. is a nationally recognized expert in treating children and teens with airway-related sleep problems.
We see patients in the Pulmonary Medicine Clinic on the 10th floor of the Doctors’ Office Tower at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. and at our specialty clinic in Hendersonville.
Overnight sleep studies
Many of the studies are done in the sleep lab at the Nashville Marriott Hotel. The lab is a child-friendly hotel room combining comfort with leading-edge technology. Sleep studies for children and teens can also be scheduled at the Hyatt Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee.
Prior to a sleep study, a sleep specialist will see your child. If you have a referral, contact the Vanderbilt Sleep Center at (615) 343-7617.
