Our physicians are always available for consultation or referral.

We will ask you for patient information, a brief clinical history, and a phone number for call-back.

We will send your information directly to the Pediatric ED or connect you to the ED resident, fellow, or attending, as requested.

All pediatric admissions initiated by physicians or hospitals are via the Children's Access Center. Reach us 24 hours a day at (615) 936-4444 or toll-free at.

Air medical transport is provided by Vanderbilt LifeFlight, at (615) 322-3211.

Children's Hospital is a Tennessee certified Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center. Tennessee Emergency Medical Services for Children

TNEMSC is made up of a diverse group of citizens including physicians, nurses, pre-hospital providers, and parent/family representatives. They are dedicated to promoting the development of comprehensive family centered pediatric emergency and critical care, rehabilitation and prevention services, and disaster preparedness that sustain the optimal health care for all the children of Tennessee.
