The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for bleeding and clotting disorders and preventing the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy, and research.

Tennessee Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders Foundation
The Tennessee Hemophilia & Bleeding Disorders Foundation is dedicated to advocacy for and support of individuals and their families with hemophilia, related bleeding disorders, and complications of those disorders or their treatment. The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life of all those affected through the promotion and support of patient, public, and professional education, counseling, research, and other services so that each can fulfill his or her maximum potential.

American Thrombosis & Hemostasis Network (ATHN)
ATHN is a non-profit organization founded to advance and improve the care of individuals affected by bleeding and thrombotic disorders.

ATHNAdvoy Website
ATHNAdvoy is an innovative healthcare web site that makes it easier for patients and their caregivers, to share important therapy data, and get access to other valuable information about treatment resources and their disease.

If you're a patient or caregiver, you can use ATHNAdvoy to keep an accurate, up-to-date treatment log or health log on this site. ATHNAdvoy makes it easier for you to keep in close communication with the people on your healthcare team. If you're the kind of person who really likes to take an active role in your care, start keeping your logs online with ATHNAdvoy.

The ATHNAdvoy App is now available for download in the iTunes store.

In order to use ATHNAdvoy, you must first be registered with ATHN. Please call us at 615.936.1765 if you would like more information about the ATHNAdvoy service. 

As a patient of a participating Vanderbilt doctor or nurse practitioner, you can:

Adult patients can register instantly by going to the MyHealth@Vanderbilt Web site and creating a new account. Please inform the clinic staff once you have created an account, so that  we can give you full viewing privileges.

If you are a parent or caregiver of a pediatric patient and would like an account set up, you can register in person during a clinic visit. Please ask the front desk staff for the My Health@Vanderbilt form. You will also need to present a photo ID before the account is created.

World Federation of Hemophilia
The World Federation of Hemophilia, an international not-for-profit organization, works to improve the lives of people with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Established in 1963, it is a global network of patient organizations in 122 countries and has official recognition from the World Health Organization.
