Education and Training

Pediatric Urology Fellowship
The Pediatric Urology Fellowship Program at Vanderbilt is accredited by the ACGME. We accept one fellow every year into our program. Fellows must have completed an accredited urology residency in the United States. The program consists of two years of training-one year of research and one year of clinical training. It is our goal that upon completion of the program, our fellows will move into academic appointments in pediatric urology.

Pediatric Urology Visiting Professor
Each year, the Division of Pediatric Urology invites a visiting professor to share his/her knowledge and experience with the current faculty, fellows, and residents. This is a two day event, which includes a dinner at the home of the Pediatric Urology division director to review previous articles authored by the visiting professor, that provides an incredible learning experience for all those involved. In addition, the residents also present selected interesting cases and the research fellow gives a presentation on our ongoing basic science research in Pediatric Urology here at Vanderbilt.
