Schoenecker Lab

Dr. Schoenecker's research is centered in two areas. The first is developing methods to monitor coagulopathies following orthopaedic surgery and trauma. The second is defining the role of coagulation in bone biology. The overall goal of his research is to develop means of personalizing coagulant therapy in orthopaedics to protect patients from complications of orthopaedic related coagulopathies as well as to develop novel means of manipulating the coagulation system to improve orthopaedic biology.
